Founded in 2008 MAKEitSO Mosaics has several years' experience in the field and creates custom made mosaics to customers throughout the UK. The home studio is located in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, UK, the mosaics, however, can be delivered to any part of Yorkshire, or any address nationwide and overseas.

As a NETT qualified tiler, MAKEitSO Mosaics proprietor Gisela Gibbon can install her work in situ or liaise with professional tilers in your area to have her work installed.

Internal and external wall and floor designs for home and business, garden art or gift items are all possibilities to be explored and designed to customer specifications.

Utilising computer aided design and hand drawn sketches MAKEitSO MOSAICS provides a professional mosaic design service to all customers for a flat design fee set off against the cost of the commission. The service is designed to show the likely end result, enabling clients to make changes to the work before it commences, keeping in mind that mosaics is a handmade art form and additional ideas and further inspiration during the work are part and parcel of the process.

Some customers, however, having seen Gisela's work may just want the element of surprise as to the final look of the piece, which will be created with their favorite colour scheme and their own ideas and taste in mind.

MAKEitSO Mosaics supplies bespoke mosaics that are handmade and completely unique. Each design is made with weather or water proof materials whenever possible, making them suitable for most locations.

MAKEitSO Mosaics are timeless decorations that can be made to almost any size and budget. Company emblems, kitchen splash backs, rockery ornaments, family crests or gifts made from broken sentimental items.

Mosaics are also uniquely suitable as community projects, and Gisela is happy to guide any community group including schools and nursing homes in the design and completion of the art.

Gisela Gibbon won the tilersforums 'Job of the Month' competition in March 2009 for her bathroom project : The Apple Tree Mosaic, surrounding tiling and the crazy paving tiled feature border. MAKEitSO Mosaics has an expanding group of customers, from throughout the UK and internationally, including Sandy Jones from California and Rob Zcheche from Virginia, USA.

I origionally comissioned the Gekko mosaic for my back garden.It's completely weatherproof. However we love it so much that it takes pride of place in the dining room.We enjoyed the work in process pictures we were emailed as we were able to see the piece evolve and we love the idea of the Gekko mounted on the leaf. The artist has an instinctive. understanding of colour and an exquisite eye for detail.
